Lucina is able to be surprisingly competent both in combat and while supporting out of combat. Her weapon effect + Joint Drive Atk make her an absolutely amazing support unit, able to buff all stats +3, atk an extra +4, along with that amazing breath effect. She's still very useful as unit in combat as well.

Brave Lucina, if drawn during the debut of the Brave Heroes, will not have any favoured stat. However, players can still pull Brave Lucina even now when the event is over. Since 5☆ heroes have 3% appearance rate, she can be quite hard to draw unless you start whaling and grinding those orbs. She unfortunately however has an inherently low RES.

While it does provide Lucina some DR, there's a much bigger emphasis on DR piercing, which is helpful when dealing with particularly tanky nukes. The main problem you might have is using Brave Lucina as a raw DPS unit. Sure she can, but there are quite a few other lance users who are better at raw DPS. They're better at raw defense too. Lucina gets her value through excellent automatic Drive buff potential, making physical-based attackers much more powerful.
